Day 1: Dorset Delight – Studland Dunes
Another chance to orienteer at this new area for orienteering. This time we will be using the previously unmapped southern part of the dunes system. Not to be missed. NOTE: THE EVENT IS ON SATURDAY!
Day 2: Swanage Urban

Please note that for RouteGadget there are 2 separate events reflecting the different map sizes A4 (for White / Yellow / Orange / Light Green and Short Green) and A3 (for all other courses). SEOUL League Table N.B. Due to the late inclusion of this event in SEOUL event calendar, we did not collect the competitors competition class. Entries were by collected Course and the Competition Class has been worked out from Age Class and course. If the SEOUL table is not showing your result under the class you would have chosen, please just drop a line to the Results Sec (Tim) saying which class you wanted before end Thursday 5th Oct under Contact Us | Club Contacts on the menu bar (desktop view only at present).
Planner’s Comments
As many of you will have noticed, the stated climb was not the same as reality! Your legs are probably telling you that now. For some reason, the contour interval was stated as 5m when in reality they are at 10m interval. I must admit it felt like the climb was greater than I had calculated but I thought that was just me struggling up the hills! Apologies for misleading you all – but I hope you still enjoyed the courses in the wonderful Swanage town, parks and nature reserve. And the weather gods were on the side of Wessex OC, that’s for sure.
