Apart from a heavy shower of rain for an hour just before midday, we were blessed to have sunny but blustery weather. In total we had 37 participants with 28 actual timed runs. Of the 37 participants only 14 were orienteering club members from Wessex, Wimborne and one from Harelquins (HOC) in the west midlands who went to take part in a kayak race off Sandbanks in the afternoon
